Great Point Lodge
GREAT POINT LODGE
The 18,000 square foot Great Point Lodge is strategically positioned to take full advantage of the almost-360-degree views of the surrounding Gallatin Mountains. The vistas are inspiring, while 160 acres of timbered ridges and meadows simultaneously deliver a measure of solitude and privacy—the home was designed to be the ideal location for large family gatherings. The owners are members of nearby Yellowstone Club, but they preferred the privacy of this location and the opportunity to bring their vision to life exactly as they had imagined it.
Seven bedrooms, seven baths, and numerous entrances/exits instill a sense of freedom—yet despite the spaciousness, the Great Point Lodge has the feel of a cabin in many ways, with cozy nooks and ‘human scale’ living spaces. Custom details like the ‘pizza room,’ the bar with its semi-circular fish tank, and the outdoor hot tub overlooking the pond add to the overall originality. A barn and guesthouse are planned as part of the master site plan as well.
